Working at the Farm
The Farm at Miller's Crossing is a family owned and operated farm. Katie, Chris and their three children are joined each season by a great group of people from here and abroad to bring you the highest quality local organic produce. Carmello, Jose and Eduardo join us each season from Guatemala bringing back their professionalism and speed. Stuart Hoag joins us come late spring to help us with deliveries and farmer's markets. Each year we hire on up to three interns to help with markets, washing, and greenhouse work.
We enjoy working with interns each season and offer up to three internships annually from March thru Mid-November. Interns participate in the CRAFT Program, a program for interns from about 15 different farms throughout the region. Each week interns visit a different farm. The farm gives a farm tour as well as teaching about a topic deemed essential by the CRAFT farmers. If you are interested in an internship with our farm, please send us a resume and a letter of intention with two references. We highly recommend a farm visit and as always it is great if you are able to work here for a few days to see how it feels.
